Tibet is commonly referred to by many as the “Pressure Tower of Asia,” which supplies fresh water to lower riparian countries.

China's policy to abduct Tibetan children and assimilate them into Chinese boarding schools is incomprehensible.  This is how China wants to wipe out Tibet - starting with the children. 
Tibetan children are losing the ability to speak their mother tongue and the ability to easily communicate with their parents and grandparents in the Tibetan language, which is expected to disappear in the next generation. 
The Chinese government is also gradually dropping the name “Tibet” in official English-language documents.

Experts say this is part of a broader policy aimed at erasing Tibetan culture.

The propaganda department of the State Council, the highest executive authority in China, has published a document entitled “Governance of Xizang in the New Era.” Although the term “Tibetan” is used to refer to the region's population and geographical features, such as the Tibetan Plateau, the term “Xizang” is used to refer to the region's official name.
Despite the Resolution issued in December 2023. Resolution by the European Parliament, the U.S. reaction, China's intended plan is being put into practice. 

Currently, there is a Tibet Autonomous Region within the PRC, but it occupies only about half of the historic area of Tibet. The Tibetan exile authorities reside in the Indian city of Dharamsala (Himachal Pradesh state), and their chief representative is the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyaco.
