In my opinion, the subtle play of feelings and emotions are only to be conveyed in black and white photography. And this is only because the lack of colors allows you to focus on them more. With two colors at our disposal, we focus on the gaze, facial expressions, rather than the background. We notice the details, nor the image as a whole.

It's all a matter of opening your eyes to really see it.
